"Castle On The Hill"

When I was six years old I broke my leg
I was running from my brother and his friends
And tasted the sweet perfume of the mountain grass I rolled down

I was younger then
Take me back to when

I found my heart and broke it here
Made friends and lost them through the years
And I've not seen the roaring fields in so long
I know I've grown
But I can't wait to go home

I'm on my way
Driving at 90 down those country lanes
Singing to "Tiny Dancer"
And I miss the way
You make me feel
And it's real
When we watched the sunset over the castle on the hill

Super Mario Odyssey is a game where you have to go to each kingdom, defeat the boss in that kingdom until you get to the point where you battle the Bowser and save princess Peach. In this game the main characters are Mario and Cappy. You can try to collect all the power moons and purple coins. Use purple coins to buy new outfits, toys and stickers to customize the Odyssey. The Odyssey is the thing that takes you to each kingdom. There are 999 power moons in the whole entire game. Then at the end of the game there are secret levels that you have to unlock if you have a certain amount of power moons.

Thank you!

Current Events

Scientists are discovering new things all the time, but one of their most recent discoveries was a planet much like earth called Ross 128b. This planet is 11 light years away from Earth and orbits around a red dwarf star. Red dwarfs are the most common stars in the galaxy and they tend to hold water friendly planets in their orbit. That means that those planets can possibly sustain a good living atmosphere.

Now enough about red dwarf stars, let’s get back to the new planet!! Ross 128b has a good range of temperature. It ranges between minus 60 degrees c and 20 degrees c, which means it could possibly have oceans, lakes, rivers, etc… These bodies of water could be a place where life may (may have) evolve(d). Ross’s peaceful parent star (the red dwarf) is another reason life may exist there.

Even though the distance between the planet and the star is 20 times less than the distance between Earth and the sun, the good news is the red dwarf is dimmer and cooler than our sun. This new discovery might lead to further exploration in the future, but for now scientists will keep looking for more planets like Ross 128b!

Basketball: Basketball season has arrived and most days there is a game at 7 pm. The Boston Celtics have the best record in the league with 15 wins and 2 losses. They have also won 15 straight games. The Golden State Warriors still just keep winning ..I mean how could they not with 4 all stars?? The Toronto Raptors have started the season with 11 wins and 5 losses. LeBron James is still in his 15th season and playing great.

Baseball: Congrats to the Houston Astros for winning the World Series, defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-1 in game 7. Baseball season is over now's time for the offseason. Will the Blue Jays resign batter Jose Bautista or will some other team sign him??

Football: Football season is about to finish so let’s wait to see when the Super Bowl will be. Legend Tom Brady will be on the path to getting his 6th Super Bowl ring. Hopefully the Giants (my favorite team) will win the Super Bowl with Odell Beckham Jr. We will have to see in February.

Soccer: In the English Premier League, Manchester United have been winning most of their games with an average of 4 goals per game. The newest team in the league, Huddersfield, also have been doing quite well. Crystal Palace have been losing most of their games and are now at the bottom of the league. In the Uefa qualifiers, Italy and the US have not made it, two teams who usually have their spots sealed.

Hockey: In the NHL, the Habs lost 6-0 to the Toronto Maple Leafs, putting them near the bottom of the league. The Habs' streak of winning against Toronto has ended. The Las Vegas Golden Knights have been doing relatively well, just like Toronto.
